Researching the Martin Ruhl family, which originated in Carroll County, Indiana. Married into the Wyrick family from the same area. Martin Sr came to this country in 1834 from Hesse, Germany, and married Mary Golsen (mid-1800's). Martin Jr was my grandfather, and he married Annie Wyrick. They migrated to the Grand Forks - Grafton area in North Dakota near the turn of the century.
Annie's sister, Bessie, married William Robertson in Rolla, ND, and moved to Calgary, Alberta, where some of their children still live.
