Hello there! I'm researching my branch of the Rule family, all of whom lived in Cornwall,Great Britain. Some travelled the world in search of wealth that they believed tin mining would bring, but were sadly mistaken. I am mainly interested in Rules that travelled to America and, above all Mexico in the late 1800s (this is my last link to the past). I would be very greatful if you have any information that may help. So if you have heard of Peter and Amelia (parents of), Thomas, William C or Frederick Rule, I'd like to hear from you.
Other surnames that I'm researching in connection with the Rules are: Hillman, Gay, Bateman (Canadian links please, post WW1), Blackler, Hawke, Jordan, Box, Nicholls, Rogers, and Frise. All the above are all Cornish with the odd one from Devon, UK, thrown in for good measure!!
