The Rumland-Cabral-Gil-Proksch-Eppen-Heuer-Knoke Homepage

My name is Hans Rumland and my family is spread over many countries. I am researching
the RUMLAND, PROKSCH, EPPEN, HEUER und KNOKE families in Germany,
the CABRAL family in Portugal and the Dominican Republic, and
the GIL family in Spain, Mexico and the Dominican Republic.

My current main interest is to find the connection between the CABRAL families of Portugal and the Dominican Republic in the late seventeenth or the early eighteenth centuries.

I do translations to and from English, German and Spanish to help people make contact with their families in Europe and Latin America. I also can provide information about the daily life of their ancestors in Germany, especially in the period before and during the great emigration wave in the late nineteenth century: How they dressed, who were their rulers, social pressures that made them emigrate, the general history of the period, etc.
I have detailed information on the the cities of Berlin, Lüneburg and Winsen an der Luhe.
