Welcome to all of you to the family home page. I have created this page for all interested relatives to touch base, see your roots, and contact each other. The genealogy has expanded massively, and I want everyone to be able to see it.
Update: December 13, 2010: Yeah, it's been a long time since I even looked at this page myself, and none of the genealogical content has been altered since my last update in 2007. However, that doesn't mean I don't have more information for you, it's just on a different site. Please follow the link at the bottom of the page to see the Ancestry.com link that will take you to Cindy's Giant Tree.
As of July 18, 2007, a NEW item has been added to my reports, namely an extensive Ockers (or Okkerse) genealogy dating back 14 generations into the late 1300's. A distant cousin saw this very site and sent me this extensive family tree showing our Dutch roots. The further back you go, the longer the names get! Credit goes to our 4th cousin (or so) John (Ockers) Ettorre. He has done extensive research on all the Dutch who came to Sayville and found that every Ockers in Sayville (and there were 3 separate families) are related in some way, in addition to many of the other Dutch families there as well. I am including a link to the original Okkerse genealogy as originally published, as well as the report which I have carefully constructed from this research. I hope you all enjoy this new revelation, and enjoy your new-found albeit mostly dead relatives!
I also invite you to investigate the tree that I have set up with myself as the primary individual (this IS my site, after all). That doesn't mean you're not included, though. All you need to do is follow the instructions to list any person on the tree as the primary individual, and it will show every ancestor and decendant for that person, including you and your children! It is very versatile, so play with it, and get even more information until your head is ready to explode.
As I get more and more information, I update the trees periodically. If you notice I have any of your information wrong, or if it is missing, please let me know, and I will correct it as soon as possible.
