Assignment of this William as son of Phillip R. Rushing is arbitrary. <font color=ff0000><u>This family is a hypothetical</u></font color> grouping of all the Rushings in Trigg Co., KY, in the1850 census except for Albert G. (who is shown in other records to be an heir of John P. Rushing). I am showing this William with two marriages. The children of the first marriage represent two adjacent households (574 and 575) in the 1850 census. William is household 568.

In the 1810 Federal Census there were 2 Rushings that may be ancestors of some of the Trigg County, KY group. Noah & Robert Rushing are in Christian Co., KY part of which later became Trigg Co.
