WELCOME ALL family of DONALD MACDONALD & KIRSTY MACLEAN.
We are formatting the files & updating the Donald (Red Dan) MacDonald family history. Born in Uig, Isle of Lewis, he came to Canada on the Elizabeth of Londonderry in the early 1870's. We are also compiling a family tree for Mary Matheson MacIvor MacKay. Family members are encouraged to send updated info to Catherine MacRitchie and to me through this site. All private information on living individuals will be included only in the written form updated to computer and shared within the family. We intend to format genealogy reports from the original history created by Catherine & Innis MacRitchie, further updated by WNT Coleman and ongoing research.
Bill Coleman & Elizabeth Ross started the present-day ball rolling on Community Zero site. Since I had this page started, I'd like to continue researching through this page. As Bill suggested on the previous site, we hope to gather the photos and format to CD & share with our family.
