The references in this database are in rough family groupings indicated by the number at the beginning of each citation. Then each group is sorted by date. You can use your browser's FIND capability (usually accessed by hitting the Cntl F), to search for names, places, landmarks, or whatever else is of interest. This database is in no way comprehensive, but just reflects the results of our research into the Walker families of Edgefield, with emphasis on Family 1, that of Samuel and Martha-Jefferson Bell Walker.

At the end of each citation is a citation for a reference, which should be complete enough for you to find the original. Please let me know if you need further details. Also there is a extensive research Bibliography elsewhere on the web site.

As always, we are very interested in making contact with others interested in the Walker families of Edgefield! Comments, corrections, and additions are most welcome.
