Became Pioneers and progenitors of the numerous churches in the Edgefield area. Under Richard Furman's influence following the Revolution the separates merged with the regular Baptists. "An inventory of the estate of Hezekiah Walker was returned...." etc. But it is exactly as it appears in Holcomb's transcription, that is, there is no inventory or list of buyers.

we also looked at 11 mar 1795, p. 48 (inventory of estate of Joseph Walker) and 11 mar 1795, the amount of the sale of Hezekiah Walker.

(Note: we didn't ask, and should have, if there would be another place where the actual list of inventory might be) There is NO estate packet for Hezekiah Walker in the index.

4. Will and Estate of Wm. B. Mays. (Edgefield SC will box 55, packet 2292) Has most of the children listed. No help with the Sarah/Annie Walker name problem. He apparently was married for the second time. But, according to something I read, all the children are from the Walker marriage.

5. Several pages of Mitchell info...a quick review doesn't show how Hinchey or Starling connect.

9. Family sheet which ends with Thomas Mitchell, father of J. Hinchey Mitchell. (Don't think this is our HInchey, though)

10. Several pages on Simeon Mitchell and family, wife Keziah.

11. Looked at Gilgal Baptists Church Records..(Beams are said to have been here)..this books starts too late for us.

12. Frances got the deed books 16,17,18 and 23, 24, 25, 26. She is going to review for our names.

13. Looked at Beams family folder...nothing there for us.

14. Didn't review Cunningham folder...we should look for source of the "James Cunningham m. Sarah Walker"

15. Looked at a Marbert and Mitchell family printout...didn't see a connection.

16. Huge book with Walker, Scruggs, Nobles...we copied the Walker refs, but not the Scruggs and Nobles (Do we need to review again??)
