Notes for Napoleon Pinsonneault:
Fall River, MA 1900 census has Napoleon listed as Pensinau or something like that. It is very difficult to read. Ward 9, Dist-115, Sheet 12, Enumeration 163. Enumerator Francis B. Coolis, taken on June 11, 1900. I could not find any listing on the Census Index: New England, 1900. A friend, Leona, found the family while she was searching through the actual paper work looking for someone else. In addition to Napoleon, who was 30 at the time, Rosilda who was 27, Rosilda, 4 years and Dora 8 months old are also listed. Napoleon's occupation is listed as a weaver, cotton mill. He could understand English and read it but not write. Wife Rosilda could read, write and understand English. Napoleon was born in Canada and Rosilda was born in Massachusetts.
