At the third generation Jean-Baptiste was married under the name Gregoire dit LAJEUNESSE to Rose Ponton on 22 September 1829 at St-Athanase, Iberville.

Rene arriving in Canada from Bretagne, France about 1762, he obtained a land concession from the Jesuit Fathers at cot of L'Ange Gardien on 22 January, 1762.
