Early in 1999 I began to research my ancestors. My father was Joseph Blanchette. His parents were Gustave Blanchette and Flavie Strong. My mother was Dora Pinsonneault. Her parents were Napoleon Pinsonneault and Rosilda Forcier. Thanks to many, many people, most of whom were newly discovered cousins, I have practically completed my family tree. I am still researching the following names: Badillac, Blanchette, Dupuis, Forcier, Gregoire or Gregory, Hebert, Laplante, Lebeau, Pelletier, Pepin, Perrier, Pinsonneault, Strachan or Strong, Thibault and Trudeau.
