Donald Lee Rutherford, 17, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. N. Rutherford of near Sarahsville, enlisted in the U.S. Army Air forces, and is now stationed at Camp Atteroury, Ind. He was a senior in the Sarahsville Hight School this year.

More recently known as "The Rocking Chair Man" for his custom handmade chairs. Member of West Orange Christian Church in Windermere, FL. Survived by wife of 57 years, Gail G. Rutherford; sons, Gene, Bruce (Becky), Jerry (Lorie), Eric Rutherford; grandchildren, Marc (Michele), Chad (Marta), Shana (Chris) Warren, Roni (Joe) Redmond, twins, Vanessa and Corey, Jennifer, David, Michael and Chris; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen (William) Truex, Leone Harding. Services, Tuesday, February 22nd, 1PM at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, 4851 Apopka-Vineland Road, Orlando, FL. Dr. Rutherford graduated West Orange High School in 1981. In 1987 Eric graduated from University of FL College of Pharmacy "GATOR FAN". He was a 15 year member of Windermere Rotary. We had the pleasure of meeting Eric and Chris at the Mid-Florida Quarter Midget Track. We shared alot of fun times with the boys racing. Eric was a very kind and thoughtful person and will be missed by those that knew him.

RUTHERFORD Dr. Eric Todd Rutherford, age 42, of Gotha, FL, formerly of Gahanna, passed away Friday, February 18, 2005. Memorial Service will be held 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 27, at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Pleasant City, OH. He was the son of the late Donald Lee and Gail Rutherford of Gahanna. Eric graduated from the University of Florida, College of Pharmacy in 1987. He served as a Dr. of Pharmacy at Winter Park Memorial Hospital in Orlando, FL and was a longtime member of the Windermere, FL Rotary. He is survived by his son, Christopher of Gotha, FL; mother, Gail Rutherford of Gahanna; brothers, Gene of Atlanta, GA, Bruce (Becky) of New Albany, and Jerry (Lorie) Rutherford of Blacklick. Arrangements by SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, Gahanna.

ERIC T. RUTHERFORD, 42, a doctor of pharmacy at Winter Park Memorial Hospital, died Friday, Feb. 18. Dr. Rutherford graduated in 1981 from West Orange High School, where he was the lead singer of the Gotha Jam, and in 1987 from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy. He was a 15-year member of the Rotary Club of Windermere. Survivors: son, Christopher; mother, Gail; brothers, Gene, Bruce, Jerry. Funeral services were Tuesday at St. Luke's United Methodist Church. Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home.
