Mr. Dan L. Miller was an heir through his mother, Belle Miller, of the Estate Settlement of Ethylle E (Potts) Schmelz; 19 Nov. 1956.

Birth and death dates from Rebecca (Miller) Rutherford. Also this information: he was a general contractor; founded the Miller Construction Co. that at one time was the largest commercial company in
the area. His sons continued this business after his death. (RMR).

STBT. From Betty Stone Hill. He was a forest ranger. He went to Montana with a pack on his back and with friends. He had curly black hair. Nickname was Buzz. Possibly also called Buster. He came home and left cousin or best friend in Montana. These are Betty's memories from her age of 6-7 years old. She also remembers, when Dan came home he was so grubby and shaggy, with a beard, no one would answer the door because they thought he was a hobo from the railroad tracks behind their house. Rebecca Miller Ruthrford, his granddaughter, remembers hearing he went to Homestead.

Christina's last known address was 4819 Hoover Road, Grove City, Oh. 43123; 875-3473. I interviewed her on the phone 13 July 1994. She was living with her daughter June at that time (RMR).

She had step-father, Mr. Teagardin, who may have adopted her. Dan and hristina's marriage application (not in my possession, says her father's name was Perry; but Christina told Rebecca (Miller) Rutherford that his name was Harry ; no Perry was found. Only one Harry found, but appeared to be too young to have been father.
