Notes for JOHN BATTEE: Found this John in "St. James Old Herring Creeke Parish, Anne Arundel County, Maryland 1663 - 1799" by Edith Stansbury Dallam. This appears to be the John that married the widow Sarah Bishop. Although some accounts show John Battee and Sarah Bishop having children: Mary, Elizabeth and Rebecca, which he mentions as daughters in his will dated 30 Jan 1709, they actually appear to be Roger Bishop's daughters per his will below dated 27th June, 1693. This John is too old to be the son of Fardanindo d. 1705, his son John is supposed to have been born ca. 1698 or the date of birth of John son of Fardanindo is wrong.
