I am researching my family tree, starting with Jacques LeVasseur from the St. Nicholas des Champs Church Parish in Paris, France. He was married to Marie Francoise Bourdon who was from the St.Joachim Church Parish in Paris, France.
His son Charles Francois LeVasseur (b.November 3, 1738) who was married to Marie Jeanne Mader is my direct line. My fathers name was Elmo Leonard LeVasseur, (b.1902) of Shreveport, La. My ancestors started out in France, then to Canada, and into the U.S. I have quite a bit of information on this line.

In addition I am researching the John Benjamin Pavey Family (my mother's side). The Paveys came from France and England to Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and some to Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
From Canada they came to the USA making their homes in Indiana, Illinois,Ohio, Missour, Arkansas, and Louisiana. Benjamin Pavey's family moved to Indiana. John Benjamin Pavey was born in Kentucky, Oct. 25, 1834. He married Maria Gibbs (ancestors from England). After they were married they moved to Indiana.

Any information would be appreciated and I am willing to share what info. I have. I am also trying to find my 2nd cousin, Tom Clark, last known address in 1987 was Waco,TX.
