I'm researching Rutan Family from New York to Ohio and WestVirginia. My Great-grandfather was Cash E. Rutan of Red HouseWest Virginia. He moved there from Marshall County WestVirginia. His father was John Hannon Rutan from Knox CountyOhio. John's wife was Caroline Minor. The move from Ohio toWest Virginia was 1860.
