Denise Olson-Ruwoldt 18 Nayler Crescent Warrnambool, Victoria 3280 (03) 55613656 druwoldt@standard.net.au	I am researching the OLSSON family from the village of Stiby, Mjällby Parish, Blekinge, Sweden. Particularly Per OLSSON, who was my great grandfather and came to Australia in 1882. Per OLSSON was born July 18, 1850. His parents were Ola NILSSON - born February 17, 1820 and Pernilla TOMASDOTTER - born November 22, 1822. Per's brothers and sister were: Nilla - born October 7, 1844 Nils - born August 3, 1847 Sven - born May 10, 1853 Ola - born October 12, 1858 Bengt - born Feburary 2, 1862 Knut Ludvig - born March 19, 1866. Per married Elna Sonesson (Sonesdotter) May 31, 1872. Her parents were Sone Johansson Kanon - born August 14, 1817 and Sissa Nilsdotter - born December 14, 1811. Her siblings were Inger and Johan. It is said that Per and brother(s) were sailors and Per jumped ship in Australia (confirmed 1882) and brother(s) went on to USA (not confirmed). I have a letter to the eldest son of Per (Olof) who lived in Victoria, Australia, from his cousin O.B. NILSON of Colfax, Washington, USA dated 1896. I have no information of any family in USA. Any information on the above persons and their families in USA or Sweden would be appreciated.
