The Harris Family of Ohio

I am a descendant researching the Family/Ancestors of Clarence B. “Doc” Harris, born June 2, 1870 in Doddridge County, West Virginia. He was the son of Uriah Harris and Rebecca V. Rider. He married Rosetta White on September 8, 1895 in Job, West Virginia in Randolph County, West Virginia. Rosetta’s mother’s name was Mary Jane Summerfield and her father was Joseph H. White. In particular, I am interested in obtaining information on Mary Jane Summerfield, who we believe, was a Cherokee Indian. So far, no luck on obtaining information on her.

This tree dates back to the oldest Harris ancestor I have on the tree to date, Anthony Harris who was born abt. 1874 in Virginia. He was married to Lydia Stansberry.
