* Amy's Genealogy Home Page*

Updated September 6, 2000

This home page is dedicated to researching the surnames: Ryan, Mortenson, Wenzel, Radloff, Zweiffel, Manecke, and Schaepe. With the exception of the Manecke's, all of my family members were farmers and loggers in Central Wisconsin. The Manecke family owned and operated jewelry stores in Wausau, Wisconsin.
I have researched as far back as the 1850's when the bulk of my family came over from Europe. I am having difficulty locating two members in particular, however. John Wenzel came to America in 1869. He had a child in 1870. I would like any information on where he may have come from in Germany and information on his arrival in the States. Also, I would like to know who his wife was.

I would be more than willing to share any information. Please contact me by e-mail.
