Most of my people, as well as my son's (on his father's side), came from Cuba and/or Spain originally. My husband's family is from England, Ireland, Scotland, & France on one side & Poland on the other. My children will be educated on geography, history & cultures before they ever step into a classroom. The main branches have the following surnames: MY MOM'S BRANCH: Abascal, Bringas, Cepero, Del Pino, Espinoza, Gomez, Mendoza, & Montes De Oca (Matanzas, Las Villa, & Havana, Cuba AND Vizcaya, Spain AND Florida & New York, USA). MY DAD'S BRANCH: Dueñas, Fernandez, & Milian (Islas Canarias, Spain AND Havana, Cuba AND Florida & New York, USA). MY KID'S BRANCH: Bellido De Luna [aka: Bellido, DeLuna, & Luna], Carames, Reine & Romero (Camaguey & Regla, Cuba AND Florida, New Orleans, & California, USA). MY HUBBY'S BRANCH: On Dad's Side: Jaskula, Ptonka, Shaudyl~o & Stachurski (Borek Nowy, Rzeszow, Poland AND New Jersey, New York & Pennsylvania, USA). MY HUBBY'S BRANCH: On Maternal Grandfather side: McCusker, Kirkpatrick, McLaughlin, & Miller (Ireland AND New Jersey, Pennsylvania & Florida, USA). MY HUBBY'S BRANCH: On Maternal Grandmother side: Holcombe, Stewart, Mills, Quick, Jones, Emley, Prall, Barber, Atkinson, Doddridge, Gray, Woolrich, Heathcoate, Lawrence, Stout, Scott, Cossinet, Moore, Hoogten, Christopher, Grantham, Heath, Ilsley, Stevens, Van Vlechtenstyn, Coornellis, Billiou, Barents, Egbertszen, Alberts, Holme, Bee, Van Princes, Atwood, DuBois, & Brunel. Most of the recent births were in the USA, but there are still branches in Cuba & the other countries listed. Those are the most difficult for me to find. I would appreciate any help I get. I am searching for the names, dates, & location that I am missing (or have wrong). But I welcome any narrative or trivia about the people on this tree and the history of the different geographical locations. I am willing to share additional information (not posted here) with anyone that is a part of this tree. |
