Virginia Lawson's Genealogy

Welcome to my web site! My name is Virginia Lawson Jones. My ancestors moved to Hawkins County and Hancock County in northeast Tennessee from North Carolina and Virginia sometime between 1800 and 1830. They were primarily from the Anderson, Callicott, Cobb, Cody, Fletcher, Goins, Lawson, Mallet, Minor, Murrell, Paxton, Trent, and Winstead families. Many of my ancestors moved to Lee County and Wise County in Virginia; Letcher County in Ketucky; and, Raleigh County in West Virginia after 1900.

I try to place the most up to date information that I have on my web site. But, not everything that I have is on my web site yet. Check back periodically to view new additions.
