The Ryan Family Home Page

The Ryan family as we know it originates in County Tipperary, Ireland with grandfather Matthew. Denis imigrated to the US around 1929 and settled in New York City. Siblings of Dennis settled in Brooklyn NY and Holyoke MA.
Dennerlien's of Bronx, New York (1920s) have an German background about which little is known.

The Hoke family dates back to James Blankton Hoke of McConnellsburg, PA during Civil War times. James Edward Hoke, grandson now lives in Kankakee, Illinois.

James' wife, Helen, descends from the Sawyers of England and the Fagan's of County Cork, Ireland on her mother's side and the Tuckers of South Carolina and Simmons (Cherokee Indians) of a small island off New York.
