The Perkins/Neff Family Home Page

I am researching the families of my maternal Grandparents. At this time I am focused on the Perkins (my grandfathers surname) and the Neff (my Grandmother's mother's family).
I have traced the Perkins side back to Abiezer Perkins (born in 1754 in Deerfield, MA) who moved from Ashfield, MA to Cazenovia, NY with his wife (Irene Loomis) and children (Byrum, Jeduthan, Eliab, Elemander, Stillman, and Polly) in 1803. There is a Perkins family cemetery in Cazenovia, NY where Abiezer, his wife, and many kin are buried.

The Neff family resided in Fabius, NY and Cortland County, NY and I have traced them back to MA and CT. I have located the graves of several of the Neff family members.

Currently I am trying to help a distant relative locate her great great grandfather Eliab Perkins who was born around 1800 in New York State and moved to Erie County, PA in 1824. Eliab is possibly the son of Byrum (also may be spelled Byram i some records) or Jeduthan. Please contact me with any information. I am also willing to share any information that I have.
