Rider/Ryder family originally from Middlesex
My paternal family of Riders/Ryders (Surname was used interchangeably) seemingly originated in Middlesex in England, before branching out to Birmingham and Burton-On-Trent in England by the late 1800s. The family were predominantly illiterate farm labourers in the late 1700 and early 1800s, but by the early 1900s had started to branch out into the trade and professional classes. |
