The RYDER /STOVER Family Home Page

I am researching the RYDER surname in Ontario, Canada; Michigan; California. Most have been found in Saginaw and Huron County in Michigan and my husband's family settled in Jackson, Michigan. They originated in Canada and before that their parents were born in Ireland. Thomas RYDER and Ellen MACKEY had 10 children. 9 of them living in the 1900 MI census. I am very intersted in finding any of the decendents of these two. My husband's grandfather was John Joseph RYDER; I have just found out that John was the second oldest; James being the oldest. He is the only one that I have much information on. I have also discovered the death of two other of the children; Timothy in Los Angeles, California and Thomas in Wayne County, Michigan. I have also discovered the obituary and death date of the father Thomas RYDER in Saginaw County, Michigan as Feb 15, 1904. I would very much like to find an obituary for Timothy RYDER in the Los Angeles, CA newpapers as he died in October 1974.
I am also searching for the STOVER,HALE,PASSAGE,PATE surnames in MI,NY. Any information would be a great help.
Most especially interested in an Asa HALE and Renee Reeve and their children.
Also, Lake STOVER b in Canada and his second wife Mary KUGATH. I know that they had three daughters (Margaret,Mabel, and Elsie)and would like to find information on their spouses and any of their relatives. Lake was my great-grandfather and divorced my great-grandmother when my grandfather was a young boy. No one in the family has any other pertinent information about Lake except that I did find the cemetery where he and his second wife are buried in Wayne County, MI.
