Family Tree Maker's Genealogy Site: User Home Pages: The Rye Family of Norfolk and Normandy


I hve traced the family line back to William Rie of Hingham, 1333 approx., and there is an earlier line stretching back to Eudo de Rie and Hubert (Humbert?) de Rie, said to be nephew to William the Conqueror. Unfortunately I am currently unable to trace the links between William and Eudo, although this was recorded in a lost copy of my father's family tree. Any assistance tracing would be appreciated.
