HALVORSEN of Ostføld, Norway

I am searching for descendants of Halvor Olsen, of Ostføld fylke in Norway. Halvor was born in 1721, and married Berthe Olsdatter in 1781. Berthe died in 1780, before the couple had any children. Halvor then married Karen Margete FREDRIKSDATTER, from Gate in 1781.

Most of my HALVORSEN ancestors were from Rygge and Glemmen. Farm names include "Skjelin" in Skjeberg, "Aaserød", and
"Braaten", all in Ostføld fylke.

  This is a picture of my grandmother (seated center) with her brothers and sisters, taken about 1908-1909. Halvor, Anna, Mathea (my grandmother), Martin, Marie, and Andrew Halvorsen. They lived at the farm Haugen under Aaserød sondre in Skjeberg, Ostføld, Norway.
