Currently working on Snow,Sholes(Shoals),Whittemore, and Willry(?)surnames.Hoping to hear from other Snow relatives as well. Will gladly swap information I have in my files.Elias J.Snow(Silas,Oliver,Samuel3,Samuel2,Samuel,Richard)b.15,Apr.1789 Ashford,Ct.d.27,Mar.1874 Ashford,Ct. m.17,May 1815 Hannah (Willry)Hartford,Ct.b.1795 d.7,Mar.1871 Ashford,Ct. Both buried South Cem.Ashford,Ct. Elias served in War of 1812.Pension records has Hannahs name as Willry.Have not been able to find any other place where her surname is mentioned.Have not found any family of hers.Something else I am looking into; Silas moved to Marcellus, Onondage Cty.,N.Y. in 1808. In 1826 he moved to Granby, Oswego Cty., N.Y. I am wondering if Elias met Hannah in/near Marcellus, N.Y. Interested in any Snows with lines to that area.
Elias J.and Hannah had 7 children:Mary Ann,Elias J.Jr.,Ebenezer Stoddard,Almira, Eliza,Hannah, Andrew S, and Harriet.
Harriet was b. 1824 she married Philander Wyllys and they lived in Windham County, CT. When Harriet died (bef. 1860) Philander married her sister Eliza. Could Harriet's mothers maiden name have been Wyllys and not Willry?. Possible.

All work and research on the Snow family is dedicated to my Mom, Mildred C. Snow. She left us April 2000. Mom was proudest of her children and we are proud of her. Mom gave me so much. If not for Mom, I would never have started my research. My heart is forever hers, always.
