The Jesse Calvin Safrit family of Salisbury, NC

We have a Jesse Safrit family reunion every year on the first Saturday after Labor Day at the homeplace on Jesse Safrit Road in Salisbury, NC. People usually start arriving around 4 PM with the meal starting at 5 Pm and people talking and catching up with one another for several hours after the meal.
We also have a Thomas Jefferson Safrit (Jesse Safrit's father) family reunion ever year on the 2nd Sunday in October. It is held in the Fellowship Hall at the Cross of Christ Lutheran Church in Rimer, Cabarrus Co., NC. People start arriving around 12:30 PM with the reunion starting at 1 PM. The meals at both reunions are covered dish food brought by the people attending the reunion.
