Son of Samuel C. Williamson and Eliza Williamson, grandson of John Williamson and Elizabeth Sullivan. After his father was killed in the War Between the States, Solomon Williamson became guardian for Andrew and his two sisters, Caroline and Emily. Andrew married Rosey Mosley in 1883, Emanuel County. They were the parents of Agnes, William Cleveland, Stinson, Haddock (or Hallitt), and Roderick. Both Andrew and Rosey died when quite young, leaving their children as orphans. They buried in the Williamson/Mosley family cemetery in the Rackettown Community of Emanuel/Toombs County, near home of Geron Williamson.
