* The WILLIAMSON Family of Georgia, And Related Lines*

Updated September 19, 2003

The main line I have been researching for the past 30 years is John WILLIAMSON, born c. 1780 in either Georgia or North Carolina; married February 1811 in Montgomery County, Georgia, to Elizabeth SULLIVAN, born c. 1799. I am descended from three of their sons. This John Williamson died 1851 in Emanuel County, Georgia; searching fervently for his parents and siblings. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and willing to correspond and share information with anyone working on this surname, especially in this geographical region.
