I am researching the Sterling Edmonson family. William Sterling (Edminson listed on marriage record) and Rebecca Taylor Edmonson were married in Knox County July 1816. Sterling and Rebecca had three sons before Rebecca died, Harvey, Cameron, and Martin Luther who was born 1827. Searching for Sterling's parents as well as Martin Luther's brothers Harvey and Cameron. Sterling later married Elizabeth Brown and moved to the Ozarks with his son Martin Luther and other children by Elizabeth. Martin Luther married Martha Adline Roberts and they had nine children. Benjamin Harvey, the third child, born in Carroll County in 1856 died in October 1933. Benjamin Harvey married Artensie Lokey and had 18 children. James Cameron was the 10th child and he married Mary Dee Carnahan the daughter of Benjamin Harvey and Lela Brittain Carnahan. Cam and Dee were my grandparents.
