Son of David Maggard Adams and Matilda Belle Gibson. I now believe Uncle John was the son of Matilda Belle Gibson and her first husband William Thomas. but he was raised an Adams and died an Adams. He was born October 1889 and Matilda and David were Married in Wise Co., Va in November 24 1890. the 1900 census gives us John's birth date. Matilda as married twice with five births and five living children. John would be the first of those children.
