1. MICHAEL1 KING was born Abt. 1629 in Norwich, Norfolk County, England, and died 1700 in Nansemond County, Virginia. He married ELIZABETH HIREY Abt. 1650.

ICHAEL KING:
Michael arrived in Jamestown in 1645 at the age of 16. He worked as an indentured servant to pay for his passage from southern England. He had acquired 1800 acres by 1675, In 1686 he built a brick home on his plantation which still stands near Somerton Creek, Nansemond County, Virginia, just north of the North Carolina border. He and his wife Elizabeth Hirey (Carey?) had six known children.
