He was a laboratory worker for the Keystone Cement Co., Bath, for 38 years before retiring in 1987.
Born in Seemsville, he was a son of the late Alvin O. Sr. and Stella (Fox) Marsh.
He was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Northampton.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
He was a life member of the United States LST Association, American Legion Post 353, and the Alliance Fire Company.
Survivors: Wife; daughter, Gail A., wife of John Hanzl of Whitehall Township; son, Kerry K. of Northampton; sisters, Nancy, wife of Elton Johnson of Nazareth, Sara, wife of Roy Weil of Hawley, Wayne County, Barbara, wife of Charles Marks of Emmaus; brothers, Alvin O. Jr. of Northampton, Luther R. of Schnecksville, three grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
