The Massengale & Associated Families HomepageUpdated September 6, 2000 | |
| I am doing research on Massengale, Henning, Philips, Goodman, Pickett, Mason, Miller, Burrow, Breeden, VanDyke, Dyer. One of the difficult ones is Melindy T. Burrow who married Jess Breeden. I am trying to establish Native American ancestry. The Massengales probably came from Whitby, England and were fishermen and Vikings. They came from Pennsylvania to North Carolina then to Tennessee and some, on to Washington State. Most of my family did migrate there. The Henning's came from Germany and were Moravian's. The Pickett's went West on a covered Wagon and settled in Washington State. The Miller's, Breeden's, VanDyke's and Dyer's are mostly from Scotland, Ireland and Germany. If anyone has any information, pictures or stories, I'd be glad to hear from you. |
