| I am looking for any information into my familtree, I have got back to 1886 with my g/grandmother Hannah Stevens Sartin's parents,who were William Berriman Sartin and Jane Stevens (nee Hollow) Sartin who were then living in Portinscale Cumberland.I know we have a Cornish Connection. My first know ancestor was an Edward Sartin, who died in 1779, and he married Ann Parker in 1753 at East Chinnock, I can trace down from Edward, but can not hgo any further back. There may be a connection with Leonard Sartin who died 1652 in Bath St James( not sure if it is St James Bath or where there is a place called Bath St James)He had a son called john born 1716. I have a good record of Sartins born after that date and if you would like any help please send me an e-mail |
