Phillip John Davis an experienced London England taxi driver was chosen from hundreds of candidates to appear with his London taxi in the London Ambulance Service inappropriate use campaign poster. Posters have appeared on London buses and, in January & February 2002, on the London Underground train network, to reinforce the message that the LAS should not be used as a taxi service.
