- Christian Solhjem & Mabel Simensen, June 6, 1916 (20 KB)
and Mabel were married at Christiana Church near Davenport, ND. They had met while students at Whapeton Teachers College, Whapeton, ND. They had two children, Aleyne Harriet, and Kenneth Alfred.
- Christoffer and Johanna Pedersdatter Johnson (9 KB)
Christoffer and Johanna Johnson lived at the farm "Sundgarten" near Sor Frøn, Gudbransdalen, Norway. He apparently would ferry farmers and other persons across a river or lake in that area. Christoffer and Johanna came to America in 1867. They arrived in Quebec, Canada the day my ggrandmother Anna was one year old. They went to Black River Falls where this picture was taken. There they lived and raised a very large family. The Johnson farm is still in family in Wisconsin
