|First, I would like to dedicate this page to my loving husband John, children; David, Leslie and Rachel, my late father, Mauris Clay Grisham (Bubby) and the love of my life "My Mother" Mary Frances Eubanks Grisham. To my many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins, I appreciate all of you for sharing your information in order to preserve the past. To my Grandmother Mazzarini, who was an Irish Rose and my Godmother, I treasure all the things she told me about her Irish family. I was her granddaughter by marriage, but connected through love. To God, thank you for the many blessings I have. To the future of the families, the memories are left for you to cherish and protect for your own.
Through this site, the hope is to record and gather as much information, documents, and photos as possible. If you are connected to any of the lines listed, please email or mail your family group sheets, gedcoms, copies of documents, old family photos, and any other info you would like to add. Any funny stories you recall about family members are also appreciated. Bless each and every one of you.

The poem below "Our Generations Past" expresses my feelings on the importance of documenting our family heritage: I wrote it on May 13, 1986 after visiting the last home of Jefferson Davis in Buloxi, MS. It doesn't matter if you are from blue blood, famous, or just wanting to make a fresh start in a wilderness country - What counts is that your ancestors made their mark in this country and through each and every one of us they live on. It is our responsibility to preserve their histories ij order for own descendents to have memories to pass on to their own.
There's still a great deal of work to be done on all these family lines and the information will be updated as information becomes available. I am hesitant about putting the gedcom online until I have as much information as possible.
My hope is that as the years go by, and I am no longer here, that future generations will carry on where I left off. We all need to cherish the paths our ancestors walked to better understand who we are.
"YOU CANNOT ESCAPE THE SHADOW OF THOSE WHO CAME BEFORE YOU!"
OUR GENERATIONS PAST
As I sit here and think,
of our generations past,
I wonder to myself,
why didn't their memories last?
I think of all the stories they told,
of how their lives used to be.
My heart cries out for all of us,
for memories long lost to you and me.
Hundreds of years have now gone by,
since our ancestry first began.
It is time to bring back to life,
the memories that have died,
So future generations,
to hold in their hearts once again.
