I am searching for information on Rufus L. ELLIOTT born in 1839. He had three sisters; Ann, Rhoda & Rebecca and one brother; Al. Ann married William Edward JONES. I have been told that the ELLIOTTS and JONESES migrated together from Dublin, Ireland to America. In 1866 he moved to Lone Oak, Texas and married Emily Fannie WILLIAMS born in 1853. I do not know where he was prior to this. Possibly in Kentucky or Tennessee. He and Fannie had three daughters; Sallie, Abbie & Ellen and three sons; William Jonathan, Thomas Ed & Richard Peter.
I am also researching Joseph Joshua JONES (no relation to William JONES) born 1861 in Georgia. He moved to Texas and married Minnie Day PRYOR in December 1889. Minnie was born in 1874 in Texas. They lived in Hunt County, Texas and had two sons; Verna Edgar & Clyde and two daughters; Emma & Lena.

Other families under research are:
Amos W. REED born about 1861 in Missouri. He lived in Sydney, Freemont County, Iowa and was married to Ella ? born about 1858 in Pennsylvania. Their children were; son-Herald S. dob about 1883, son-Frank dob about 1885, daughter-Lula dob about 1889, son-Herman Robert dob April 28, 1891 and son William Vincent dob about 1894.
Sarah Eleanor THURMAN born October 08, 1882. Her first husband was Ernest GROVER and their children were; son-Cleo, daughter-Velma GROVER McFARLAND dob April 26, 1907, and daughter-Geneva GROVER GILPIN born June 15,1911. Her second husband was Herman Robert REED. Their children were; Mary Elizabeth REED TUCKER, son-Amos Arthur and son-Iven Raymond born May 22, 1920 in Sydney, Iowa and died September 23, 1980 in Klgore, Texas.

Any information would be appreciated and I am willing to share the information I have.
