A deed in Mecklenberg County court, dated June 13, 1796 names many of Edward Goode's children. Deed book 9, page 99.
Edward lived in Amelia County VA until 1748, on land inherited by Judith's father. In 1751 they moved to Lunenburg Co., VA. This was
part of land that changed to Mecklenberg Co in 1765. Edward owned over 1000 acres of land.
