Carlo Scafidi Family History, Mysteries and Memories

The history of the Scafidi Family in Mississippi streches back to its beginnings in the "Old Country", Sicily. From the humble beginnings in the small village of Belmonte Mezzagno the family migrated as part of great Italian emmigration to America at the end of the nineteenth century.

What has been collected and recorded here is a work in progress. My thanks goes out for the information provided by living family members and, the research capabilty of Ancestry on the internet. I am sure there are errors and many corrections are needed. But the search goes on.
