I am a descendant of Richard TUTT and Sarah "Sallie" YANCEY who married in Lauderdale County, Alabama in 1837. According to the 1850 Ouachita County Census, Richard was born in Tennessee abt. 1811 - 1813. The migration route that Richard and Sallie probably took from Lauderdale County, Alabama was to Tishomingo County, Mississippi where a Richard Tutt appears on a state cenusus dated 1845 and then proceeded to Ouachita County, Arkansas where he appears on the 1850 census.
Other Tutt related familes are: Yancey (Yancy), Hodnett, Carter, Nolen, Webb, High, Keith and Simpson.

I am also researching the following families: Rountree, Freeman, Mossinger, Ridabaugh, Wierman, Green, and Ammons.

Any information that you could provide would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have.
