They moved to Randolph, VT. in 1784. He enlisted in the Mass Army on 17 Jul 1780 and served in the 16th Battalion of Mass Bay forces in Capt Thomas Turner's 5th Co for three months.
He was placed on the US Pension Roll Aug. 17, 1833, from Orange Co., VT. to begin March 4, 1831, at forty dollars per annum.
He was a farmer. They had 4 sons and 2 daughters.
