Leuit. Washburn 1st., 4th Regt of the Mass. militia prior to the Revolutionary War and later promoted to Capt. and drew a Capt. pension until his death.
Jonah moved from Mass. with his family to "Fish Hill" Randolph, VT. in 1786 on 400 acres of virgin land.
