Scatton(e) and Uchno

Updated January 2, 2009

I am currently researching the Scatton(e) families that came to the US from Anzi, Italy (and elsewhere?) in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Several families settled in and around Hazleton, PA. Others settled in and around New York City, Chicago, and Cleveland.

You'll also find considerable information on the other, Polish side of the family, Uchno, which settled in West Hazleton, PA. Most of this information was collected and organized by my uncle, the late Stanley Uchno, to whom we are all indebted.

I would be grateful for any help or information.
