The Dominick Joseph Scarpino Family Home Page

I am attempting to complete a true and correct Family Tree of my family going as far back as possible in the life of my forefathers and need the help of any informed sources.

My dad, Dominick Joseph Scarpino (born Domenico Giuseppe Scarpino later changed to Dominick Joseph Scarpino) of Bethpage, NY, was born on July 19, 1997 in Carfizzi, Italy and died of natural causes in Bethpage, NY on February 3, 1999 at the grand age of 101. He was in good mental and physical health until his death. He came to the US (first settled in Brooklyn, NY) when he was 16 years of age from that very small town in Italy.

My mother, Orsola Giovanina Condosta Scarpino was also born in the same town as Dominick on November 26, 1908 and came to the US when she was 22 years of age in 1930. I had a sister, Sylvia Giovanina Scarpino who was born in Carfizzi on April 19, 1930 and died in Bethpage, NY on July 20, 1956. Orsola died in Bethpage, NY on February 14, 1998 due to natural causes.

I am the only surviving offspring of Dominick and Orsola, born on October 22, 1935, and reside on Long Island, New York with my devoted wife, Virginia (Ginger) Cooper Scarpino, formerly of Fredricktown, Missouri and the proud daughter of her cherished parents - Troy Elvin Cooper and Mabel Huffman Cooper.
