* Standiford-Bates-Schooley Genealogy*

I am researching Bates, Standiford, Schooley, Howerton, Schlonga, Gorski and others. The states of settlement that I am focusing on are Indiana, Kansas, Ohio, Kentucky, and Arkansas.
I have a particular yearning to locate info on William Bates, born 1770. He settled in Delaware (Grant) County, Indiana in the year 1831.

The Standiford's who settled in Missouri and Kansas are also on my list of priorities.
