I am researching my ancestors and my wife's ancestors. My wife, an American-born citizen, has ancestors from Italy, Germany, Ireland, Portugal, Poland and Switzerland. My ancestors come from England, Spain and Scotland, where I was born. The names of our grandparents are:
SCHOFIELD (Manchester, England)
MACLEAN (Scotland and Philadelphia, PA)
DUNSMORE (Scotland)
FRAILE-LOPEZ (Spain)
STRASZ/STRASZEWSKI (came from Poland to USA around 1890's)
SIGISMOND/SIGISMONDO (came from Alfedina, Italy to the USA)
SANT or BRAGAS (came from Azores Islands in 1896)
SCHAEFFER (came from Germany to PA).

Most of my research is on Rachel's German ancestors who settled in Lebanon County, PA. Names of her ancestors include Arnold, Allwein, Seifert/ Seyfert, Schaeffer, Zweier, Weibel, Egg/ Eck, Zip, Schmidt, Wolf, Kuhn, Adams, Greth and Heinrich.
